A plain-language overview of how SubPacket handles account information and uploaded documents.
Effective date: August 23, 2026
This policy is a starting template for SubPacket and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production launch. It describes the intended operation of subpacket.net and the SubPacket application.
We may collect your name, email address, company information, trade, contact details, billing identifiers, uploaded document metadata, documents you choose to upload, packet requests, and support messages.
Uploaded documents are intended to remain private unless you choose to include them in an active packet. Packet viewers may be able to view metadata and download included, non-expired files. W-9s start excluded by default. You are responsible for reviewing every file’s sharing setting.
SubPacket may use self-hosted infrastructure on Hetzner, Emailit for transactional email, Stripe for billing, and other providers needed to operate the service. Providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.
We retain account information and uploaded files while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Contact support@subpacket.net to request account or document deletion; we will verify ownership before processing the request.
We use private storage, controlled downloads, secure sessions, access checks, and audit events. No online service is risk-free. Do not upload information you are not authorized to store or share.
You may update company information, replace or delete documents, disable packet links, manage billing through Stripe, and contact us about privacy questions.
SubPacket is a business service and is not directed to children.
Privacy questions can be sent to support@subpacket.net.
