Terms of service

The rules for using SubPacket. Have counsel review these terms before launch.

Effective date: August 23, 2026

These terms are a starting template for SubPacket and are not a substitute for legal advice. By creating an account or using SubPacket, you agree to these terms.

What SubPacket provides

SubPacket provides software to organize uploaded contractor documents, track dates, generate share links, send reminders, and receive document requests. SubPacket does not verify insurance, licenses, tax forms, safety records, or legal compliance.

Your account

You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining password security, and all activity under your account. One account may manage one company in the MVP. You must be authorized to upload and share the documents you provide.

Acceptable use

Do not use SubPacket to upload unlawful, malicious, infringing, or unauthorized information; attempt to access another company’s account or files; probe or disrupt the service; send spam; or misrepresent a document’s status or authenticity.

Sharing

You control which documents are included in your packet and whether the packet link is active. Anyone who receives an active link may be able to view shared information. Do not place sensitive documents in a public packet unless you intend to share them.

Payment and trials

SubPacket offers a 30-day trial and then one annual plan priced at $99 per company per year. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize recurring annual charges until cancellation. Taxes may apply based on your location and registrations.

Refunds

If SubPacket did not make sending your contractor packet easier, contact support@subpacket.net within 30 days of payment to request a refund. Refunds are reviewed under the refund policy.

Disclaimers

SubPacket is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that a GC, insurer, licensing authority, project owner, or other party will accept a packet or document. You remain responsible for compliance with applicable law, contract requirements, insurance requirements, and tax obligations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubPacket will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Counsel should adapt this section to the applicable business entity and jurisdiction.

Changes and termination

We may update the service or these terms. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create security risk. You may stop using the service at any time.
